About Us
At Brush & Floss Mobile Dental Hygiene, we provide services outside of a typical dental office and bring expert oral care right to you. We offer routine cleanings, dental hygiene exams, fluoride treatments, oral cancer screening and oral hygiene education in your home or place of business (as per patients preference). We guarantee easy access to dental services by removing the need for travel, wait time, dental office anxiety and providing individualized care in comfortable circumstances, making oral health maintenance more manageable and available to everybody.

IN-HOME DENTAL ASSESSMENT:
Reviewing past medical and dental records, keeping an eye on vital signs like blood pressure, breathing, and pulse, performing a thorough dentition assessment that includes examining teeth and gums, and screening for oral cancer.
SCALING AND ROOT PLANNING:
Calculus (Tarter), soft (Plaque), and above and below the gum line can be removed with ultrasonic and hand scalers.
STAIN REMOVAL:
Tooth surface that gets stained (a.k.a extrinsic stain) is removed with the use of polish paste. Extrinsic stains is caused by several reason such as tea/coffee, food color stains, smoking etc.
FLUORIDE TREATMENT (AS NEEDED):
Application of fluoride helps prevention from cavities. It helps remineralization of enamel.
ORAL HYGIENE EDUCATION:
Teaching and demonstrating brushing and flossing techniques, encouraging on the importance of brushing 2xday and flossing once. Together as a team we will work with the patient to have a healthily gums and teeth.
Teeth Whitening:
The process of teeth whitening involves removing stains and lightening the color of your teeth. We use In-Office whitening treatment where you can see the difference and have a confident smile ever.

At Brush & Floss the soiled instruments are transported and sterilized according to stringent protocols. No matter where we work, as a mobile hygienist, infection control is always the top priority. It's important to follow all instructions, and we can guarantee that current evidence-based practice standards and Public Health IPAC guidelines are being followed as per IPAC Guidelines.

As per CDC requirements, the Statim GT 5000 Sci Can sterilizer undergoes daily efficacy testing. Every day, a dry block incubator is used to check for negative spore growth, which guarantees the sterilizer is operating as intended. Every experiment is documented on a biological record sheet every day. For ten years, all records are retained.

I became certified in 2022 and have been a Dental hygienist ever since. I love my career and I was never more passionate about dentistry than I am now. I take great satisfaction in knowing that my patients leave my office feeling refreshed, clean, and in good health. I love being able to assist them keep a healthy mouth. My love of dental health and patient care gave birth to the concept of Brush & Floss Mobile Dental Hygiene care. I have had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing patients over couple of years, many of them have told me how difficult it has been for some of their loved ones to attend dental checkups for a variety of reasons. This made me pause and reflect. Everyone should undoubtedly receive excellent oral hygiene treatment, so why not offer them that care in their comfort space. I believe patients comfort is extremely important and Brush & Floss main idea is to focus on patients comfort.
